Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour ~ Featuring Nipples

This is her show, and she won’t let us go. Beyoncé kicked off the “Mrs Carter Show World Tour” yesterday at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, and all anyone can talk about is the costumes, especially the gold “nipple” bodysuit by The Blonds, which was hand embroidered with Swarovski crystals and took over 600 hours to make. Earlier reports credited Julien Macdonald for the naughty outfit, but the Blonds have stepped forward to shut down that rumor.

Yesterday, I mentioned that DSquared2 was on board with costume design, but through the gallery at InStyle, I discovered Emilio Pucci, Ralph & Russo, and Stuart Weitzman were also on board. I really liked the Grecian inspired costume by DSquared2 and Julian MacDonald. The gold accessories, especially the custom-made gold Weitzman shoes, really bring the coral color to life. And while I am not a fan of the peplum trend, I really liked the pearl and crystal details on the white bodysuit by Ralph & Russo.

Beyoncé As Mrs. Carter in H&M Sizzles for WaterAid

BEYONCE-BIKINI-5

H&M continues to tease us by trickling promotional photos from the  Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M” campaign. The photos show her tousled hair adorned with a variety of tropical flowers that compliment an assortment of colorful bikinis, and a sexy bodycon dress in tropical blues. Each outfit is accessorized the same; massive amounts of gold bangles, and her belly-button ring. Her fit and toned body is stunning, and it’s clear –  the camera loves Beyoncé.

.“H&M‘s summer campaign starring Beyoncé is an epic fantasy, with glamour, drama and also a sense of paradise,” said Donald Schneider, H&M’s creative director.

The line will roll out in May, and If you need a good reason to shop the line, 25 percent of the proceeds from the H&M for Water collection, (The green tie-dyed bikini is part of the line) go to WaterAid, a charity that provides safe water for developing countries. So far, $3.9 million has been raised to aid the world’s poorest areas since 2002. The H&M for Water collection is available at the same time as the “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M” collection, and will feature Beyoncé as well.

BEYONCE-BIKINI-3

The photos, taken in the Bahamas, were released today, coinciding with the start of her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” in Serbia. The costumes will surely be a show on their own because The Caten boys, otherwise known as DSquared2, is custom making them based on their 2013 Spring/Summer “Glamazon”collection. The 90s inspired collection is biker chic with mounds of gold chains, tiny skirts, and heavy on the accessories. We will see if the costumes, or the H&M collection is most tantalizing.

A Shoe-aholics Dilemma Part 4: Statement Heels

Finally, I have picked the final group of shoes after a lot of thought and not nearly enough red wine. I have to say that this group was the hardest one to pick, but I think I picked some great “look at me” heels to compliment Martin Grant’s “Dana” dress.

What do you think?
