I am a divorced mother of two adult children and a native of Denver, CO, where I also live. In another life, I worked a variety of administrative and accounting positions and I even owned a residential property management company, and a nail and skin care salon. I have lupus and my health has always been an obstacle between me and my goals. I took journalism and desktop publishing in college because I know early on that I wanted an online fashion and beauty magazine. I wanted to be a media mogul.
I was taught to always look my best when I am in public, so I have always gravitated towards makeup, hair, and fashion because it allows you to transform and let’s face it, it’s fun. I have had to reinvent myself several times because the disease and the side effects from medications have changed my appearance so often. Even before my challenges, beauty and fashion always fascinated me.
Presently, I am focusing on my mental and physical health and chasing my dreams. StylEnigma is me taking care of me and keeping my ambitions alive.
StylEnigma hopes to be entertaining and informative posts about what style truly is; being authentic and distinctive. Style is not a trend, it’s timeless.
Enjoy and share,
